The Host

Sarah Cogan is a professional designer for film and tv.  She fell into design in 2005 while studying at UC Santa Barbara after spending her youth training as a performer.

Sarah trained in Costume, Lighting and Scenic Design throughout undergrad and into her masters program at UC San Diego.  After receiving her MFA in Costume and Lighting Design, Sarah moved to New York where she’s been working professionally ever since.

Sarah has worked as the designer for numerous projects from commercials to features to episodics.  Sarah has been nominated for Best Design for her work as a production designer for Inferno. She is a proud member of USA Local 829.

Most recently, she has been working as the Assistant Costume Designer on numerous tv series, including Last Week Tonight with John Oliver and Kevin Can Wait. Currently, she is the Assistant Costume Designer on Blindspot Season 5.
